...as I get to watch that national embarrassment Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. get beat up again.

He was contracted to fight Danny Jacobs at 168, but you knew his lazy ass wasn't going to make weight. Jacobs comes in at 167 and change and of course Julio is like 172 and a half. Jacobs' camp said, hell with me, just make the fight 173 and give us a million from your purse.

I'm guessing Jacobs figures this clown won't want to fight after about four rounds.

And when I'm right I'm right. JCCJr. had a GREAT first round, weighted about 195 pounds too. Then he slowed down and was basically non-existent from the middle of the second through the fourth round.

Then the fifth round came. JCCJr. lands a beautiful right hook and Jacobs took it and didn't budge. Jacobs won the final minute of the round, bloodied JCCJr up and of course the son of one of the great warriors in boxing, Mexican or otherwise, quit. He knew those middle rounds were going to be hell and wanted nothing to do with them.

So he skipped a drug test, missed weight and quit when the fight got tough. The JCCJr. hat trick.

I gave up on JCCJr. as soon as I saw the Pete Davidson blonde dye job. And he lived right down to it with that performance. Maybe he can fight again...at cruiserweight.

It's a shame too because even if he didn't like training but had an inkling of heart JCCJr. would be the richest fighter in boxing right now because he is a big puncher with a really good chin (waste of a good chin) and has good action fights. He will never fight at cruiser or light heavy though...those guys punch for real and he won't have to quit because he'll be staring at the light

On the flip side I thought Jacobs looked good at 168. He was definitely draining himself to make 160.

And the Charlo fight was fun.
