It was a matter of time before those strikes/kicks coming from 100 angles would connect. Mcgregor helped me forget a bit about Jones--but Jon Jones is the best in the biz in my book when he doesn't shoot himself in the foot. I pray he can stay on top. He's the man. CM is fun to watch in his own right but he's not a busy fighter like Jones. Jones' DEFENSE is better than CM. Jones has so damn many tools in his arsenal.

Lastly---forget the interviews you see with McGregor/Mayweather.....watch and listen to Jon Jones.  He's REALLY REALLY intelligent but an outside the box thinker.  I love his confidence.  I just hope he can stay clear of trouble.  He's got plenty left in the tank.

Was cheering hard for DC but knew he didn't have much of a chance.

Think about DC - he turned down a scholarship offer to play football at LSU so he could pursue wrestling... 2x JUCO national champ... Goes to wrestle for legendary Oklahoma State program with John Smith. In his only 10 losses as a collegiate wrestler, 6 of them were to Cael Sanderson, maybe the best collegiate wrestler of all time (undefeated in 4x years he wrestled at Iowa St). Then he gets in to MMA, bats legend after legend and only loses twice - both times again to arguably the best ever. Sucks for DC he keeps running into these historic talents. He seems like a great guy.

I agree! D.C. Really really took it hard. Some would say he was acting classless last night but I didn't see that. I saw a man who really was in the moment and devastated upon waking up realizing that he had lost. His career and record meant so much to him. And Jon handled it the right way.

Honestly what happened AFTER the fight--the activity was more interesting than the fight. Total sportsmanship and appreciation.

He took it hard because he was concussed. Same reaction that the guy on Carolina had when he was crying. Was kinda sh*try to force him to be interviewed after the fight like that.
